RCVS Practice Standards Scheme

Our Tranent branch of Dunedin Vets is accredited to the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Practice Standards Scheme, a voluntary quality assurance programme which gives you the peace of mind that your pet will be treated with the best of care.

We had to pass a rigorous inspection which looked at hygiene, health and safety, facilities and equipment to get this accreditation.

We are inspected every four years and must certify annually that we continue to meet these standards. We may also be subject to spot-checks between full inspections.
