Our clinical director Margot Hunter is one of only three vets in Scotland to have obtained the animal homeopathy, VetMFHom qualification, after studying for four years, on a distance learning course from Oxford.
Margot is recognised as an expert in this system of medicine that bases its therapeutics on the principle of ‘let likes to be cured by likes’ with the medicines used derived from animal, vegetable or mineral sources.
Latterly remedies have also been derived from man-made substances.
When using homeopathy Margot will look for signs and symptoms in a sick animal which she compares with a ‘symptom picture’ of various medicines, choosing the medicine which is the closest ‘match’.
Contact Margot for a consultation or the British Association of Veterinary Homeopaths for more information.
